- The TFV 600 Ex is designed for a high delivery speed in explosion-hazardous areas with high back pressure, even over long transport distances via multiple interconnected air transport hoses.
- This makes the TFV 600 Ex the ideal transport fan for ventilation in Class 2 explosion-proof zones, for example when cleaning tanks, in port facilities, refineries, shafts, or silos.
- Even with long hose distances of 50 meters with multiple bends, this powerful radial fan guarantees a high air volume, because, unlike axial fans, the TFV 600 Ex transports air perpendicular to the impeller axis according to the principle of a centrifuge, in which the air is pushed outwards and compressed in a snail-shaped housing.
- And because the centrifugal fan of this quality device, which is manufactured entirely in Germany and designed in accordance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, is integrated into a robust, powder-coated steel housing with a highly resistant two-component paint, it can also be used in aggressive environments.

The switches, cables, and plugs of the TFV 600 Ex are approved for use in areas with explosion hazards. Suitable coupling plugs can be supplied for connection extensions, which are approved for use in zones 1, 2, 21, and 22. An optional 18.5 kW star-delta switch combination for EX zone 22, 400 V, AC3, IP 55, is available for the TFV 600 Ex.
