- A lithium start booster is up to 95% lighter than a regular lead-acid start booster.
- The booster also holds its charge up to 4x longer when not in use.

- The IS5000 also features a built-in voltmeter to provide insight into the status of the starter battery beforehand.
- The Projecta boosters feature an internal LiFePo4 lithium battery, which is safer and less sensitive to temperature fluctuations than a LiCo lithium battery.
- The Projecta boosters are also equipped with Rapid Recharge Technology.
- This means that the jump starter battery is fully charged again after remaining connected to the starter battery for 40 seconds. Charging is also possible using the included docking station.
- The booster is also protected against reverse connection and has an intelligent "Battery Management System" which ensures that the internal battery is never overcharged or discharged, or that the booster never overheats.
