Griffon 6314274 Super Glue Control Tube 3g Blister
Special features
- Easy and clean to use
- Ultra-fast and extremely strong liquid super glue
- Thanks to Direct-Stop Technology, you can easily and controllably apply the right amount of glue, without dripping
- Flows into the smallest corners and crevices
- Ideal for small surfaces (not suitable for large surfaces)
- Bonds virtually all solid and flexible materials such as leather, many plastics such as hard PVC (polyvinyl chloride), ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer, shock-resistant styrene), PS (polystyrene), acrylic resin ((Plexiglas®)), polycarbonate ((Makrolon®), phenolic resins (Bakelite®), porcelain, ceramics, wood, metal, cork, felt, fabric (test suitability first), rubber
Technical data
- Not suitable for glass (after a period the bond becomes brittle, causing it to weaken)
- Wipe off excess glue immediately with a dry cloth. After curing, the glue residue is very difficult to remove. Acetone will cause the glue to decompose very slowly (check for suitability)
- The materials to be glued must be clean, dry, dust- and grease-free, and fit well
- Bonds to skin and eyes within seconds. Keep out of reach of children. May cause respiratory irritation. When consulting a doctor, bring the packaging or label with you. Avoid inhalation of vapor. IF IN CONTACT WITH EYES: rinse carefully with water for several minutes. If possible, remove contact lenses and continue rinsing
- Store in a dry, cool, frost-free place. Storage below + 5 °C (in the refrigerator) ensures maximum shelf life
- Contents: 3 g
Instructions for use
- Apply the glue as thinly as possible directly from the tube to one side through the nozzle (too much glue significantly slows down curing!)
- Bring the parts together immediately and press firmly
- Depending on the amount of glue applied and the material, the glue polymerizes into a synthetic resin within 60 seconds and bonds the parts very strongly
- When gluing in low humidity, the curing time can be shortened by briefly breathing on one of the parts to be glued
- The best results are obtained at room temperature
- Basically reacting surfaces accelerate the curing of the glue, acidically reacting surfaces (e.g. wood, ceramics, porcelain, leather) slow down the curing of the glue
- After use, clean the nozzle immediately with a dry cloth or tissue and close it with the cap
- Do not use at temperatures below +10 °C. The adhesive performs best at a humidity of 50-70%
