- Receiver with four tracing modes: The 2062-R receiver detects the signal in wires and cables in two ways: passive tracing without the transmitter for contactless voltage detection, and active tracing with the transmitter for all other modes. The receiver's point sensor can trace wires in corners, tight spaces, and junction boxes.

- Low’ mode for precise searching with a low signal to reduce coupling with nearby wires and metal objects
- Loop’ mode for de-energized closed circuits
- Two transmitter output frequencies
- The 2000-T automatically detects whether the system is energized or de-energized and selects an output frequency of 6 kHz or 33 kHz.
