Fischer 536882 Concrete Screw FBS II 8 x 90 40/25 SK Countersunk Head 50 Pieces

The Fischer FBS II is the concrete screw for optimal installation comfort. The special tooth geometry enables quick driving into concrete. When mounting in a ceiling or floor, the drill hole does not need to be cleaned. Thanks to national approval, multiple uses for temporary anchorages, e.g. during formwork, are no problem. For mounting the wall bolt, a tangential impact driver with a bit suitable for the impact driver or a special TX bit is recommended. The concrete screw can, for example, be excellently used for fastening railings, crash barriers, consoles, or formwork.

Advantages

  • High degree of flexibility regarding load and thickness of the mounting pieces due to up to two approved screw-in depths
  • The special tooth geometry enables rapid screwing into concrete
  • The drill holes do not need to be cleaned when mounting in ceilings or floors, or when using hollow drills with dust extraction
  • The expansion-pressure-free anchoring (back-cutting) allows for small edge and axial distances
  • The ETA approval covers application in cracked concrete as well as seismic performance categories C1 and C2
  • The approval-compliant adjustment allows the concrete screw to be loosened twice, positioned slightly below the mounting piece, and/or aligned.

Construction materials

  • Concrete C20/25 to C50/60, cracked and uncracked
  • Concrete C12/15
  • Solid building materials
  • High-density masonry

Installation

  • The FBS II is suitable for through-hole mounting
  • Drill holes do not need to be cleaned in case of vertical mounting (ceiling and floor) or when using hollow drills. When mounting in floors, the borehole must be drilled 3x dØ deeper.
  • For mounting, a tangential impact screwdriver with a bit suitable for the impact screwdriver or a special TX bit is recommended.
  • The screw is correctly mounted when the screw head rests against the mounting piece (visual inspection of the mounting).
