The APS 120 IVR X screw compressor is suitable for medium to large companies, and especially for companies requiring variable compressed air. This screw compressor is equipped with a new, specially designed frequency converter. Energy costs are reduced by up to 30%.
- The synchronous motor delivers a power of 120 hp. The motor has high torque, adaptability, and is resistant to loads. The motor is 8% more efficient compared to a standard motor. This motor is classified as energy class IE3. The motor and the single-stage screw block are directly coupled to each other. The major advantage of this is the direct coupling. As a result, the compressor operates at 100% power. This improves efficiency by 3% compared to non-directly driven motors. Due to this construction, the compressor is also more compact. Furthermore, vibrations are significantly reduced. Thanks to the rubber vibration dampers under the motor plus the special connecting hose between the motor and the separator tank, noise and vibrations are substantially lower. Consequently, the screw compressor itself produces 70 decibels. The low decibel level is characteristic of the screw compressor. The screw compressor also vibrates much less due to the sturdy foundation. The frequency converter, control system, and separator tank are located on the front of the screw compressor. The frequency converter is protected by plexiglass. When the panel is in place, the main switch is located on the front. Below the control panel is an emergency stop button to stop the machine immediately.
The motor is located at the rear of the screw compressor. The cooling fan is installed above the motor. What is immediately noticeable is the amount of space inside the screw compressor to keep the temperature low. - The screw compressor is equipped with a large cooling fan so that the machine always remains cool. The cooling fan has a higher capacity than required, so that it can also be adjusted. This is possible with the comprehensive MAM-6080 controller.
The oil filter is screwable, allowing you to quickly install a new oil filter and use the machine again. This way, you lose little time and can quickly resume production.
