The 3M™ SecureFit™ X5000 series safety helmet offers safe, comfortable, and adjustable head protection for workers in demanding situations. Our helmets feature six different position adjustment settings and a 4-point chin strap with a selection system to switch between certification standards EN397 (industrial safety helmets) or EN12492 (climbing helmets). X5000 series safety helmets are ventilated, rimless, and feature 3M™ UVicator™ sensors, which indicate the level of exposure to harmful ultraviolet (UV) light. They have an easily adjustable 6-point liner with a ratchet closure, which utilizes the exclusive 3M™ Pressure Diffusion Technology. They are available in various colors with optional reflective material.
Use the 3M™ SecureFit™ X5000 series safety helmet for safe and comfortable head protection. This series is ideal for a variety of situations, including working at height, industrial work with heavy machinery, or other hazardous situations. Our ventilated safety helmets are designed and certified to meet EN12492 and EN397 standards, and with the unique 4-point chin strap with selection system, you can switch back and forth between the two depending on the safety requirements at your workplace. The rimless design is based on modern climbing helmets and gives you a clear view upwards, so you remain aware of your surroundings to avoid risks. With six different settings, you can adjust the height of the liner at the front and back for a fit on any head shape. With the smooth-turning ratchet closure of the 6-point liner you can easily open and close the headband as needed. These helmets use the exclusive, patented 3M™ Pressure Diffusion Technology, which not only ensures a secure fit but also helps improve comfort by exerting up to 20% less pressure on the forehead than the interior of conventional 3M helmets. These safety helmets are equipped with the unique 3M™ UVicator™ sensor, which changes from red to white when exposed to harmful levels of ultraviolet (UV) light. Since outer helmets can become brittle due to UV radiation and thereby lose their level of protection, the color-changing sensor indicates when it is time to replace the helmet. Accessory slots and clips are designed to combine with Perse face shields, earmuffs, and other accessories from 3M. The X5000 series helmets are available in Perse colors with optional reflective material. Please note: The X5000 series safety helmets are either in EN12492 mode (climbing helmets) or in EN397 mode (industrial safety helmets), but they never meet both EN standards simultaneously.
